MyJourney as a Mooter: From Junior to Founder-President
As I sit down to reflect on my journey as a mooter, I am filled with a sense of pride, nostalgia, and gratitude. From being a junior mooter to becoming the Founder-President of the Mount Zion Law College Moot Court Society (MZLCMCS), my journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The
Early Days: Junior Mooter
It all began when I first stepped into the world of moot courts as a junior mooter. I was eager to learn, to grow, and to make a mark. Those early days were a whirlwind of research, argumentation, and teamwork. I was fortunate to have mentors who guided me, peers who supported me, and a passion that drove me.
The Middle Ground: Secretary of MZLCMCS
As I progressed, I took on the role of Secretary of MZLCMCS. This was a turning point in my journey, as I was responsible for organizing and coordinating various events, workshops, and competitions. One of the highlights of my tenure as Secretary was successfully conducting the 1st Mount Zion National Moot Court Competition 2024. It was a roaring success, and I was thrilled to see our hard work pay off.
The Pinnacle: Founder-President of MZLCMCS
The highlight of my journey was when I was elected as the Founder-President of MZLCMCS. It was an honor to lead the society, to create opportunities for my fellow students, and to leave a lasting legacy. As I take on this new role, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. There is a lot to be done, and I am eager to get started.
Acknowledging the People Who Made It Possible
I wouldn't have made it this far without the support and guidance of some incredible individuals. My senior, co-founder, and great friend, Dhyan Prakash, has been with me every step of the way. We've shared countless memories attending competitions across India and conducting national-level competitions in our college. I'm also deeply grateful to our former Principal, K.J. Rajan sir, whose well wishes and support helped us get started. His encouragement meant the world to us. Miss Heera Das, our Chief Executive Coordinator, is my guru in moot. She trained us, mentored us, and helped us become the mooters we are today. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to her. I'd also like to thank Miss Reshmi S. Nair, my Director at MZLCMCS, for her unwavering support and leadership. She's a true leader who protects and guides her team with dedication and care. Lastly, I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to the management of Mount Zion Law College for giving us the opportunity to build this society from the ground up.
The Road Ahead
One of my top priorities as President is to conduct the 2nd Mount Zion National Moot Court Competition 2025. This is a huge responsibility, but I am confident that with the support of my team, we can make it a resounding success. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Conclusion
As I look back on my journey as a mooter, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. From being a junior mooter to becoming the Founder-President of MZLCMCS, my journey has been a wild ride. I am grateful for the experience, the skills, and the lessons I have learned along the way. And I hope that my story will inspire others to pursue their passions, to chase their dreams, and to never give up on their goals.
